I had the unfortunate privilege of being diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer a few years ago, and please keep in mind that this truth isn't meant to make you feel sorry or sorrow for me; rather, it's meant to highlight the possibility that if it hadn't been for my artistic endeavors, I might not have had a goal to focus on along the path ahead of me. Know that the moment you choose to bounce back, you win.
As I continue to pursue a writing career now that I've published several creative works under the LUiS Thompson name, I wish to concentrate on projects that are related to the genres in which I've written. I'd like to share my entire story to raise mental health awareness and prevent suicide. As a game writer, I plan to work on projects involving these concerns in the near future.
